With the purpose of evaluating the vinaza effect on the relative content of chlorophyll and foliar morphology and anatomy of sugar cane leaves, a trial was established in a factorial arrangement with three varieties and fives fertilization treatments by including vinaza, vinaza plus chemical fertilizer, chemical fertilizer alone and control treatment. Relative content of chlorophyll was higher with the vinaza plus chemical fertilizer treatments in the cultivars. Foliar morphology showed little variations and no detrimental effect was observed neither in the anatomy of mesophyll nor in the epidermis that indicated a deficiency in nutrition. Therefore, vinaza may act in an efficient way when is used in a combined vegetable nutrition program.
