    El presente artículo intenta hacer una revisión de la bibliografía post-autoritaria que se ha venido construyendo sobre los poderes y los sistemas judiciales en América Latina, y particularmente en México. Dista de ser un examen exhaustivo del estado del arte, y más bien señala los mapas y las directrices sobre desde dónde mirar los poderes judiciales en los llamados procesos transicionales o de consolidación de la democracia política.

    The present article intends to review the post-authoritarian bibliography that has been compiled on the powers and the judicial systems in Latin America, and particularly in Mexico. It is far from being a thorough examination of the state of the art, and rather it indicates the maps and the guidelines from where to look at the judicial powers in the so-called transitional processes for the consolidation of political democracy.
