    • In this interview, David H. Jonassen discusses his research in problem solving, including h models should differentiate between novice a experts, and how Problem-Based Learning can change university teaching. He advocates research that answers the question of what types of learning can be supported with technology. In reference the third edition of his book Mindtools, he recaps that the change process in using Mindtools through pedagogy and student-centered learning. He explains how learning environmental design relates to tasks, cognitive processes, and a cognitive apprenticeship approach. He responds to the question of constructivism in instructional design for complex and ill-structured tasks and how emerging Web 2.0 technologies will impact learning through social usage.
