El fenómeno inmigratorio ha sido una constante en la historia de Venezuela. Las tendencias de los últimos años han sido principalmente de colombianos.
El estudio en cuestión, tiene que ver con el comportamiento escolar de los hijos de estos inmigrantes colombianos, específicamente en la zona del Páramo merideño, y su relación con los procesos de cultura e identidad.
Los resultados indican una adaptación positiva de los escolares binacionales en el sistema Educativo Venezolano de la Educación Básica

CHILDREN OF COLOMBIAN IMMIGRANTS IN THE MOOR MERIDEÑO, SCHOOL AND CULTURAL MEMORY The immigratory phenomenon has been a constant in the history of Venezuela. The tendency of the last years has been of Colombian immigrants.
The present study deals with behaviors of the children of these Colombian immigrants and its relation with the processes of culture and identity. The study was conducted the Páramo Merideño of The Andes of Venezuela.
The results indicate a positive adaptation of the Binational scholars to the Venezuelan National Educational System of Basic Education. These students obtained a good academic achievement in relation to the other students of the same group

DES ENFANTS DES IMMIGRANTS COLOMBIENS DANS LE «PARAMO MERIDEÑO», ÉCOLE ET MÉMOIRE CULTURELLE Le phénomène d� immigration a été une constante dans l�histoire du Vénézuéla. Les tendances dans les der nières années ont été principalement des colombiens. L�étude mis en question vise le comportement scolaire des enfants de ces immigrants, notamment dans la región du « páramo merideño», et leur relation avec les processus de culture et identité.
