  Se cita por primera vez para Portugal E. salmanticum Lag. Se establecen las tres nuevas combinaciones siguientes: E. albicans subsp. fruticescens (Coincy) Valdés, E. creticum subsp. sauvagei (R. Fernandes) Valdés y E. sabulicolum subsp. rifeum (Pau) Valdés. Se añaden algunos comentarios sobre E. cantabricum (Laínz) Fdz.-Casas & Laínz y sobre ginodioecia en Echium.
