  La distribución sexual del trabajo reproductivo ha recibido gran atención por parte de la comunidad académica universitaria. Por ello, el artículo presenta una revisión de las investigaciones más recientes que analizan las diferencias de género en el reparto de estas tareas. Se estudia el tiempo que invierten mujeres y hombres en este trabajo, así como el tipo de labores que unas y otros realizan con mayor frecuencia. Asimismo, se estudian las variables que modulan las diferencias de género que existen en el tiempo dedicado a estas tareas.

  Distribution of the sexes in reproductive work has received considerable attention from the university academic community.
  
  For this reason, the article offers a review of the most recent research done analysing the gender differences in the distribution of these tasks. A study is made of the time invested by men and women in such work, along with the type of jobs either group does most often.
  
  Also examined are the variables that modulate the differences existing between the genders in the time devoted to such tasks.
