    Aprovechándose de la mezcolanza existente entre los conceptos y las realidades "étnicas" y "nacionales", en una suerte de "contra-indigenismo", las grandes potencias utilizan para sus propios fines las fricciones históricas entre los Estados que pretenden desestabilizar y algunas de sus nacionalidades (por ejemplo, Irán-Ahwazi, Bolivia-Camba). Además, el panorama intercultural e institucional se complejiza con la reaparición claramente reivindicativa de pueblos indígenas dados por extintos ¿Qué puede o debe hacer el indigenismo ante estos retos?

    Capitalizing on the existing confusion around the conceits "ethnic" and "national" and their respective realities, the great powers practise a SOft of counterrindigenism, turning the historie frictions between States and some of their nationalities (e.g., Iran-Ahwazi, Bolivia-Camba) to their own advantage in their destabilization manoeuvres. At the same time, the intercultural and institutional scenario has grown more complex with the clearly demand-driven reappearance ofI indigenous peoples hitherto regarded to be extinct. What can or should indigenism do when confronted with these challenges?
