Resumen de Los muertos de la División Azul

Hasta la fecha, no disponemos de un monográfico sobre las muertes en la División Azul, aspecto que, con sus lógicas limitaciones, el presente artículo ha pretendido cubrir. Apuntar que la División Azul luchó durante dos años en el frente ruso, y cuando en octubre de 1943 abandonó sus posiciones para ser repatriada, quedó en Rusia una unidad menor, la llamada Legión Azul (regresó entre marzo y abril de 1944). Fueron años de dura lucha, que se saldó con la muerte de unos cinco mil divisionarios de un total de 45.500, y varios cientos quedaron en presidio soviético, de los que una parte murió y el resto regresó, pero en 1954. Entre tanto, España vivió todo aquello con creciente inquietud, y ya en 1943 parte del «voluntariado» pasó a ser forzado. Muchachos de reemplazo cubrieron bajas falangistas habidas por muerte y repatriación, obligados. En fin, hubo mil y una situaciones, fuesen de carácter diplomático, de política interior o meramente vivenciales, de la calle, que entretejen una historia definida por la muerte. Aún hoy España tiene planteado el problema del enterramiento de sus combatientes en Rusia, en tanto que un grupo de familiares reclama la repatriación de sus cadáveres y no acepta la solución de dejarlos en un camposanto alemán en suelo ruso.

Till now we have not one monograph about the dead people in the Blue Division. This is one aspect that, with its logical limitations, this article has pretended to cover it. The Blue Division fought for two years in the Russian front. When in October 1943 she left her positions for returning to Spain, remained in Russia one little military unit called Blue Legion, that returned among March and April 1944. They were years of a very strong fight, that were covered by the death of five thousand Blue Division�s fighters from 45.500. And many of them were kept in retention (some were dead and some others returned, but in 1954). During that time, many people in Spain was worried a lot, and since 1943 a part of the «voluntaries» became forced. Then young people in Military Service covered, forced, the Falangist casualties by dead or repatriation. Well then, there were a lot of situations, diplomatic ones, owner politic ones or life ones, in the street. All they draw an history defined by death. Till now, there is the problem of dying the Blue Division died people. This is because many families reclaim the return to Spain of the dead bodies, and didn�t accept the governmental solution of left them in a German cemetery in Russia.
