Resumen de El nombre en algunas gramáticas de español para extranjeros del siglo XVI

  Este artículo pretende ser una contribución a la historia de las gramáticas españolas para extranjeros del siglo XVI. Tiene tres partes. En la primera se estudia un panorama general de la situación de la didáctica del español para extranjeros en esa época, con algunos tratados gramaticales significativos: la Gramática de Eebrija, los dos Anónimos de Lovaina (1555 y 1559), Villalón (1558), y las gramáticas escritas en otras lenguas: francés, italiano e inglés, como las obras de Antonio del Corro (1586), Richard Percyvall (1591) y John Minsheu. En la segunda se establecen las diferentes clasificaciones que estos gramáticos han seguido en sus obras y las partes de la oración que distingue cada uno. En la tercera se ofrece una descripción del tratamiento del nombre en español. Lo interesante acerca de las ideas sobre el uso del nombre castellano en estas gramáticas es que, aunque en algunos aspectos continúan la línea establecida por la gramática latina, en otros se desligan de ésta y presentan ya características propias del español.

  This paper aims to contribute to the study of the history of Spanish grammarbooks for foreigners during the 16th century. There are three parts. The first part deals with a general survey of the situation of the teaching of Spanish for foreigners at the time, including some remarkable treatises: the Grammar by Eebrija, the two anonymous books of Louvain (1555, 1559), Villalón (1558) and the grammar-books written in languages other than Spanish: French, Italian, English, such as the books by Antonio del Corro (1586), Richard Percyvall (1591), and John Minsheu. The second part deals with the taxonomy followed by grammarians and the parts of speech they established. The third part offers a description of the category noun in Spanish. It is interesting that, though the criteria used about the noun in Spanish follow Latin grammars, there are aspects showing festures characteristic of the Spanish language.
