Sin entrar en el detalle de las luchas constantes que a lo largo del periodo considerado mantuvieron nobleza y monarquía, se ha pretendido hacer una valoración global de las mismas, atendiendo al trasfondo de la crisis bajomedieval y a la importancia que tuvieron de cara a la propia maduración institucional del Estado feudal castellano-leonés que llevará a la configuración posterior del Estado Moderno.

Without going into detail of the constant struggles between the nobility and the monarchy throughout the period, at attempt has been made to undertake an overall evaluation, looking at the crises in the Late Middle Ages and the importance they had in the institutional maturing of the feudal Castilian-Leonese State that was subsequently to give rise to the structuring of the Modern State.
