A un siglo de la aparición de la obra The Principles of Scientific Management es pertinente reflexionar creativamente sobre lo que inició este pensador y ejecutivo práctico; diagnosticando el estado actual imperante de ella como arte, ciencia y meta ciencia o epistemología, tomando en cuenta lo anterior y la actual crisis de este mundo globalizado, pudimos percatarnos de la necesidad urgente de incorporar a nuestro campo general de trabajo teórico y práctico los conceptos de capital ético (integración dinámica productora de acciones y actitudes morales) y capital social (red formada de confianza interpersonal que genera armonía social), termina con propuestas prácticas para lograrlo.
