  • Resumen
    • This lecture was given at the University of Estrasburg as a part of the Investigation Program: On History. It begins by arguing that German Philosophy is essentially Philosophy of History and that History is, for German Philosophy, Essentiality itself. These are the hypothesis on which lies a new interpretation of Nietzsches Second Untimely Meditation, Use and Abuse of History for Life (1873) as one of the most important documents on History Thought of German tradition. The lecture explores the Nietzschean concepts of passive and active Mimesis, its Greek and Kantian heritage and, finally, the Heideggers readings of Nietzsches Second Untimely Meditation.
