Entre Bourdieu y Schutz: Encuentros y desencuentros en fenomenología social

    Este artículo propone una interpretación de las relaciones teóricas de las obras de Bourdieu y Schutz con la fenomenología, para mostrar sus puntos de encuentro y desencuentro alrededor de dicha corriente filosófica. Co-menzaremos señalando la posición crítica de Bourdieu frente a la fenome-nología en general, y a la de Schutz en particular. Luego nos centraremos en Schutz para mostrar su apuesta teórica en torno a una reelaboración del concepto weberiano de acción social, su relación con la fenomenología de Husserl, así como el carácter desacertado de la crítica bourdeana. A conti-nuación nos introduciremos en la obra de Bourdieu, mostrando el vínculo entre su teoría de la práctica �retomando las nociones de habitus, cuerpo y sentido práctico� y la fenomenología de Husserl y Merleau-Ponty. Para fina-lizar, compararemos los planteos de Schutz y Bourdieu, señalando sus en-cuentros y desencuentros centrales; con vistas a contribuir a la fundamen-tación de una fenomenología social.

    This article proposes an interpretation of the theoretical relations among the works of Bourdieu and Schutz with phenomenology, to show their points of agreement and disagreement around that philosophical trend. We will begin by pointing out Bourdieu's critical position towards phenomenol-ogy in general and towards Schutz�s one in particular. Then we will focus on Schutz to show his theoretical commitment around a reworking of the We-berian concept of social action, his relation to Husserl's phenomenology, as well as the unfortunate nature of Bourdieu�s criticism. Later on we will in-troduce in the work of Bourdieu, showing the connection between his theory of practice �revisiting the notions of habitus, body and practical sense� and the phenomenology of Husserl and Merleau-Ponty. Finally, we will compare the proposals of Schutz and Bourdieu, pointing out their core agreements and disagreements, in order to contribute to the basis of social phenomenology.
