Resumen de A non-traditional energy carrier: the efficiency of use in power plants with a hydrogen generator

Igor L. Kolbenev

  • Additional information is presented on the concept of widening fuel and energy resources by using an energy carrier based on secondary aluminium, reduced oxides of aluminium, silicon, iron and their compounds taken from the aluminium-magnesium industry, the mineral part of coal, or the ash and slag waste of thermal power stations. The limiting possibilities and kinetic peculiarities of the energy carrier-water reaction, efficiency of a vehicle borne hydrogen generator, qualitative indices of power plants with a petrol-hydrogen internal combusion engine (ICE) and a hydrogen-oxygen electrochemical generator (ECG) are considered in line with thermodynamics.
