  • Representation of the same historical fact might embody differences between different societies and sometimes even in the same society. 1922, refugees and Exchange of Population is a shared historical event both for Greece and Turkey. Reflection of these shared events, although, is rather different both in Greek and Turkish collective memories / narratives. The following article is about different reflections of 1922, refugees and Exchange of Population in Greek and Turkish narratives.
