Resumen de "La Noche de San Juan": máquina de amor y arquitectura perfecta en el ciclo de "senectute" de Lope de Vega

En este artículo se analiza el funcionamiento de los elementos recurrentes que definen el código del amor en la comedia lopesca La noche de San Juan y la manera en que dicho tema está puesto al servicio de la elaboración de una acción y una pieza perfectas. Para ello se describe primero sucintamente los elementos definitorios del amor y su presencia en la comedia y, después, se estudian en relación con la construcción de la acción, el tratamiento de otros temas y recursos propios de la poética del género de la Comedia Nueva.

This article analyzes the operation of the recurring elements that define the code of love in Lope's plays The Night of San Juan and the way in which that issue is put to use in the preparation of an action and a perfect piece. First, we describe briefly the defining elements of love and its presence in the play, and afterwards we study the elements in connection with the construction of the action, the treatment of other topics and resources of the poetic genre of the New Comedy.
