La vinculación existente entre los grabados isleños y las inscripciones líbico-bereberes permite analizar esta grafía como componente estructural destacado de las manifestaciones rupestres, además de reconocerla como elemento unificador de una diversidad tipológica, en la que se ha insistido quizás excesivamente en el pasado. Mediante el presente artículo se pretende justificar la viabilidad de este enfoque metodológico, y mostrar paralelos en el ámbito cultural bereber del continente africano.

«Rock-Art and lybico-berber inscriptions in the Canary Islands, North Africa and Sahara».
The relationship between the island petroglyphs and the libico-berber inscriptions allow the study of this scripture as an outstanding structural component of rock art and as a unifying element of a diversity typology, in which, perhaps their has been excesive insistance in the past. The present article attempts to justify the viability of this methodological focus, in addition to demonstrate parallelisms and similarities in the berber cultural field of the African continent.
