    El presente texto reflexiona sobre las formas de control, autoridad y ejercicio del poder que los nha-nhú u otomíes han construido para atenuar o superar las deficiencias del sistema federal mexicano de justicia. Apoyado en el enfoque centrado en el actor, el autor demuestra la vitalidad y el funcionamiento del sistema indígena de justicia, a través de un accidente automovilístico en la región otomí del Valle del Mezquital, Hidalgo (México). El caso confirma el funcionamiento de sistemas de procuración de justicia híbridos, no antagónicos y adaptados a la cultura política local y regional en el país.

    This article thinks on the forms of control, authority and power exertion that the nha-nhú or otomíes have built to lighten or overcome the Federal Mexican justice system deficiencies. Supported by an approach centered on the plaintiff, the author shows the justice indigenous system strength and working through a car accident in the otomí region of Valle del Mezquital, Hidalgo (México). The case confirms the functioning of some hybrid justice systems, not antagonistic, and adapted to the local and regional political culture.
