La reforma universitaria emprendida a partir del �grito� de Córdoba y su declaración �en junio de 1918-, no constituye un fenómeno estrictamente académico sino una expresión social que influyó decisivamente en la articulación de un discurso político inédito, matriz alternativa que modificó las bases del sistema de educación superior en toda la región, otrora plataforma anacrónica, de contenido obsoleto y profundamente oligárquica. Y contribuyó a fortalecer la autenticidad del pensamiento crítico en América Latina.

The university reform taken from the Cordoba "Scream" and his statement- in June 1918 � is not a strictly academic phenomenon but a social expression that decisively influenced the articulation of an unprecedented political discourse, an alternative matrix that modified the bases of the higher education system throughout the region, once an anachronistic platform, obsolete and deeply oligarchic. It helped to strengthen the authenticity of critical thinking in Latin America
