    La familia Filistatidae esta representada en Chile unicamente por Filistatoides milloti (Zapfe, 1961) (Platnick, 2009), correspondiente a la subfamilia Prithinae. En este trabajo se reporta por primera vez para Chile la especie de la subfamilia Filistatinae Kukulcania hibernalis (Hentz, 1842) en base a una hembra colectada en la localidad de Colchane (19��16��34��S, 68��38��16��W) situado en el altiplano de la provincia de Iquique.

    The family Filistatidae is represented in Chile only by the Prithinae Filistatoides milloti (Zapfe, 1961) (Platnick, 2009). In this work is reported for the first time the presence of the Filistatinae Kukulcania hibernalis (Hentz, 1842) in Chile, based on a female collected in Colchane (19��16��34��S, 68��38��16��W), highlands of the Iquique province.
