    We will try to specify the meaning of the personal pronouns ego and tu when they are coreferent to a personal-ending verb. These pronouns, realized in a utterance, have a highly important role in the construction of informative coherence, since they can work as topicalization, and focalization. They can also be used as additional markers: their second position gives informative emphasis to the element in first position. Furthermore, these pronouns have a contrastive presupposition which gives them a pivot function in textual organization. Depending on whether the contrast is explicit, implicit or intra-personal, the relationship to the other element will take place at different levels: internal to the text or beyond it, whether it be intertextuality or relationship between text and speech situation.

    Nous chercherons à déterminer la valeur que prennent les pronoms personnels ego et tu lorsqu'ils sont coréférents à un verbe porteur d'un morphème personnel. Ces pronoms actualisés dans le discours ont un rôle essentiel dans la construction de la cohérence informative, puisqu'ils peuvent fonctionner comme topicalisation et comme focalisation. lIs peuvent en outre être utilisés comme des marqueurs méta-informatifs annexes, conférant un relief informatif à l'élément qui leur est antéposé. Par ailleurs, ces pronoms comportent un présupposé contrastif qui leur confère un rôle de pivot dans l'organisation du texte. Selon que le contraste est explicite, implicite ou intrapersonnel, la relation à l'élément autre prendra place à différents niveaux : interne au texte ou le dépassant, qu'il s'agisse d'intertextualité ou de la relation entre le texte et l'énonciation.
