Resumen de Delivering quality in education through the internet: virtual degrees via the World Wide Web
One of the very few industries around these days that remained �untouched� over the years is higher education and the way that it is delivered to the students around the world. The standard up to now was to select a University, apply and if you get accepted, you have to physically be on campus and attend classes. Unfortunately, for people who do not like change, this is already changing! There are already more than 720 institutions of higher education that deliver some form of virtual courseware and distant learning. The purpose of this paper is to �explore� these new models and provide the pros and the cons of virtual education.
