La práctica de enfermería a nivel asistencial, implica tomar decisiones permanentemente, su objetivo es mejorar la salud del paciente; para lograrlo es necesario estandarizar el lenguaje y los cuidados enfermeros, utilizando como metodología de trabajo el proceso de enfermería y la vinculación taxonómica NANDA (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association), NOC (Nursing Outcome Classification) y NIC (Nursing Intervention Classification).
La elaboración de una guía clínica del cuidado, permite dicha unificación, al integrar elementos esenciales para dar un cuidado adecuado, aplicando la Enfermería Basada en Evidencias, que proporciona el fundamento científico, suficiente y actualizado al incorporar la mejor evidencia y fuerza de recomendación.
Para la elaboración de una guía clínica del cuidado, se debe diseñar en primera instancia un estudio que permita identificar las etiquetas diagnósticas que se presenten con mayor frecuencia en personas con alguna alteración en su salud;
esto permitirá limitar el problema y poder asociar herramientas metodológicas e instrumentales, como el proceso de enfermería y las taxonomías NANDA, NOC y NIC, para guiar una práctica de enfermería libre de riesgos, promoviendo la calidad en la atención.
Posteriormente, se debe hacer uso de una metodología para la elaboración de guías clínicas, quedando implícitos los aspectos disciplinares de enfermería.
La guía clínica tiene la finalidad de orientar la práctica, de tal manera que debe estar construida con elementos pertinentes de acuerdo al contexto donde se pretenda implementar, para concretizar su estructura con la conformación de un algoritmo que representa de manera esquemática, sintética y lineal todos los elementos de la guía.

The practice of the nursing to assistance level implies to make decisions permanently, with the objective for improvement the patient�s health; to achieve it is necessary to standardize the language and the nursing care, using as work methodology the nursing process and the taxonomic link NANDA (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association), NOC (Nursing Outcome Classification) y NIC (Nursing Intervention Classification) The making of a clinical guide of the nursing care allows this unification when integrating essential elements, to give an appropriate care, applying the Evidence Based Nursing that it provides the scientific enough and up-to-date foundation, when incorporating the best evidence and recommendation power.
For making a clinical guide of the nursing care it should be designed in first instance a study that allows us to identify the diagnostic labels that show up with more frequency in people with some alteration in their health; this will allow to define the problem and can associate methodological and instrumental tools, as the nursing process and the taxonomies NANDA, NOC and NIC, to guide a nursing practice risk free, promoting the quality in the care.
Later on a methodology should be used for the elaboration of clinical guides, being implicit the aspects of nursing disciplinares. The clinical guide has the purpose of guiding the practice, in such a way that should be constructed with pertinent elements, in accordance with the context where it is sought to implement, for to specify its structure with the conformation of an algorithm that represents in a schematic, synthetic and lineal way all the elements of the guide.
