  • Resumen
    • This article discusses a group of nearly 400 potter's marks from the site of Tepe Yahya in Kerman province, southern Iran. The potter's marks have been typologically classified, and their distribution by period and phase is shown in a series of tables. The function of these signs is only briefly discussed, while greater attention is given to correspondences between the potter's marks of the Indo-Iranian borderlands and both the Proto-Elamite and Harappan scripts. Hypotheses concerning the possibility of a relationship between Proto-Elamite and Harappan are discussed in light of these correspondences
