    Este artículo presenta resultados obtenidos a partir del estudio de las condiciones de prestación de servicios de un taller de reparación automotriz, donde se determinó que debido a la insuficiente capacidad de respuesta ante la demanda creciente, se presentan retrasos en la entrega de los vehículos, lo cual generaba baja satisfacción a clientes, trabajadores y accionistas. Esta problemática fue atacada utilizando los principios de la teoría de restricciones, donde se busca que la empresa logre su meta, la cual es generar dinero ahora y en el futuro. Como primera medida se identificó que el eslabón más débil dentro de la cadena de prestación de servicios, era Latonería, a través de un análisis de la capacidad de cada uno de los servicios versus la demanda, además de un análisis del impacto de las restricciones en la generación de Trúput. Así se generaron estrategias para obtener el mayor rendimiento del recurso restrictivo a través de estudios de los métodos de trabajo, es decir, encontrar la capacidad oculta del sistema y aprovecharla para así apoyar la estación cuello de botella. Por ultimo se generaron propuestas para aumentar la capacidad de la restricción a largo plazo, es decir, a través de una inversión estratégica.

    This paper presents results obtained from the study of the conditions of service of an automotive repair shop, where it was determined that due to insufficient capacity of the response to the growing demand, were behind in delivery of the vehicles, which produced low satisfaction of customers, employees and shareholders. This problem was attacked using the principles of the theory of constraints, where the company seeks to achieve its goal, which is making money now and in the future. The first step was identified as the weakest link in the chain of supply of services, was to pay rent, through an analysis of the capacity of individual versus demand services, as well as an analysis of the impact of restrictions throughput generation. These strategies generated the highest return for the restrictive use through studies of the working methods, ie the ability to find hidden and system and use them to support the bottleneck station. Finally proposals were generated to increase the capacity of the longterm restriction, through a strategic investment.
