  El organero Guillaume de Lupe, en los más de treinta años que vivió en Tarazona a finales del siglo XVI y principios del XVII, convirtió esta ciudad en un importantísimo centro de irradiación musical, al extender su labor por Aragón, Navarra y La Rioja. Lo novedoso de su trabajo le hizo convertirse en una figura clave en la fabricación de órganos, instrumento que en ese momento llegaría a su máximo desarrollo.

  Cascante, localidad navarra que pertenecía en esa época a la diócesis turiasonense, le encargaría uno para la iglesia recién construida de la Asunción, que sería después protegido por una caja de madera construida por el ensamblador Domingo Bidarte. Lamentablemente, este órgano no se ha conservado hasta nuestros días.

  During the more than thirty years that the organ maker, Guillaume de Lupe, lived in Tarazona at the later part of the 16th century and start of the 17th century, he converted this town into an extremely important centre of musical radiation, as his work extended through Aragon, Navarre and La Rioja. His novel work made him become a key figure in the manufacture of organs, an instrument that, at that time, would reach its peak in development.

  Cascante, a town in Navarre that, at that moment in time, belonged to the Tarazona diocese, would commission him one for the newly built church of the Asunción, which would later be protected with a wooden box constructed by the assembler, Domingo Bidarte.
