  EL RIESGO DE LA EXPANSIÓN DEL PATRIMONIO: ¿HACIA UNA "NATURALIZACIÓN" DE LOS TERRITORIOS? EJEMPLO DE LA EXTENSIÓN ESPACIAL DE LOS PROCESOS DE PATRIMONIALIZACIÓN EN PÉRIGORD. Mucho tiempo abandonado, el Périgord reapareció como un territorio remarcable por la riqueza y la valorización de su patrimonio cultural y natural. Prenda de reconocimiento y de modelo de desarrollo territorial, esta valorización del patrimonio interpela sobre sus efectos sociales y políticos cuando se extiende a vastos espacios y hasta el corazón mismo de las explotaciones agrícolas. Si algunos ven en esto el arquetipo del mundo rural moderno, una nueva manera de hablar del espacio rural capaz de iniciar nuevos lazos, podemos también preguntamos si esta expansión patrimonial no participa, implícitamente, de una ordenación, incluso de una "naturalización" de los territorios.

  IS HERITAGE SUSTAINABLE WHEN IT HAS TO FACE OVEREXTENSION? ARE TERRITORIES TO BE NATURAL FIRST? THE SPREAD OF HERITAGE-MAKING PROCESS IN PÉRIGORD AS CASE-STUDY Périgord has long been neglected but now this district is remarkable for its rich and well advertised heritage -both cultural and natural. Such valorisation, albeit a model of territorial marketing and development, creates puzzling social and political side effects when applied to large areas -that may even include farms. Some people appreciate this extension as some archetype of modern rural life and a potential source of new relations in such places. Still one may wonder, at the same time, whether such territorial enlargement of heritage could not be, implicitly at least, part of a normative process that affects social space in the guise of protecting nature.

  Longtemps délaissé, le Périgord est devenu un territoire remarquable par la richesse et la mise en avant de son patrimoine culturel et naturel. Gage de reconnaissance et modèle de développement territorial, cette valorisation patrimoniale interpelle quant à ses effets sociaux et politiques lorsqu'elle s'étend à de vastes espaces et jusqu'au coeur mëme des exploitations agricoles. Si certains y voient l'archétype des ruralités modernes, une nouvelle manière de dire l'espace rural capable d'initier de nouveaux liens, on peut également se demander si cette expansion patrimoniale ne participe pas implicitement d'une mise en ordre, voire d'une "naturalisation", des territoires.
