"Destiny" y "Silex of Destiny": la metamorfosis de un destino poético-amoroso en la obra de César Moro

    El poeta y artista peruano César Moro (Lima, 1903-1956) es conocido esencialmente por el único poemario que escribió en español, La tortuga ecuestre (1938-1939), y por el erotismo homosexual y la influencia de la escritura surrealista que configuran esta obra. Nos interesaremos aquí por la vertiente francesa de su poesía bilingüe y por uno de sus últimos poemarios, considerado también como uno de los más herméticos: Amour à mort (1949-1950). Partiendo del análisis pormenorizado de dos poemas "gemelos", "Destiny" y "Silex of destiny", nos proponemos mostrar de qué manera, en el sutil trabajo de las imágenes y de las sonoridades, se entretejen la temática amorosa y la reflexión metapoética hasta aparecer éstas como dos líneas indisociables y fundadoras de la poética moreana.

    The Peruvian poet and artist César Moro (Lima, 1903-1956) is essentially known for the unique collection of poems which he wrote in Spanish, The Equestrian Turtle (1938-1939), and for the homosexual erotism and the influence of surrealist writing which give shape to this work. We are interested in the french flow of his bilingual poetry and in one of his latest collection of poems, also considered as one of the most hermetic: Amour à mort (1949-1950). Starting with a detailed analysis of two "twin" poems, "Destiny" and "Silex of destiny", we intend to show the way in which the subtle work of images and sounds, are interweaved with love theme and meta-poetic reflection until they appear as two undissolvable lines and founders of César Moro´s poetry.
