  • Resumen
    • The energy of activation (Ea) may provide interesting data in the studies of enzyme heterogeneity characterization, both for enzyme systems having true isoenzymes or molecular forms with a post-transcriptional source. In this article a bibliographical review is carried out on the previously published results for several enzymes with diagnostic usefulness, as the creatine kinase, a-amylase, lactate dehydrogenase, aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, ?-glutamyltransferase, 5´-nucleotidase, alanine aminopeptidase, and ß-N-acetylhexosaminidase. Likewise, possible investigation lines are suggested, in which this thermodynamic variable would to give interesting data for other enzymes with clinical usefulness
