• This article explores the relation between the technological innovation and the transformation of the journalistic activity. It offers an analysis of the potentialities of the digital journalism based on the study of the expressive resources and of interaction, of the simultaneity and the use of the hypertextuality in those communicative products. The contrast between what it can be done and what the Spanish newspapers present on the net (the Web) really offer today permits extract conclusions about the repercusión that can have the use on computers of the new technological capacities on the productive practices of this mediatic activity.

  Therefore, it suggest the necessity of incorporating new professional routines to the production process of digital journalism.
