The theoretical opening that, in the sixties, Post structuralism provided to certain Marxisms, anchored in closed and non dialogic conceptions, complements itself in the complex contemporarity with the open, polyphonic and hybrid looks of post colonialism, cultural studies and postmodernism, all belonging to authors who emerge from various disciplines and anti-disciplines -, such as Fredric Jameson, Homi K. Bhabha, Antonio Negri or Michael Hardt, who propose liberating counter thoughts which oppose to the colonialist, patriarchal and capitalist thought images. In the same way, the conceptual and epistemic apparatus of communication theories is being critically reformulated in a new scene, populated by new images of thought; this time its threads are performingly weaved by the media and new technologies of simulation. Opposite to this emerges the necessity of a third theory - hybrid, crossbreed, placed in-between the cultural processes -.
