Resumen de Diagnóstico de la cultura empendedora en la escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquía

  La Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia (EIA) tiene establecido dentro de sus ejes de formación el desarrollo del espíritu emprendedor. En razón de ello, el área de Emprendimiento identificó la necesidad de promover la cultura emprendedora en la comunidad, para lo cual se requería, en primer lugar, hacer el diagnóstico de su existencia. Inicialmente, se realizó un recorrido teórico con el fin de homologar los conceptos de cultura, espíritu emprendedor y cultura emprendedora, lo que permitió identificar los seis componentes del espíritu emprendedor que se evalúan: forma de pensar, razonar y actuar centrada en las oportunidades; consideración del riesgo; creatividad e innovación; generación de valor; proactividad, y búsqueda de información. Estos componentes fueron analizados a partir de encuestas y entrevistas en profundidad, para identificar las percepciones que sobre ellos tenían los integrantes de la comunidad, lo cual dio como resultado que la comunidad EIA posee dichos componentes en diferentes niveles de desarrollo. Se recomienda como trabajo futuro efectuar el diagnóstico periódico de la cultura emprendedora a fin de validar los avances en su desarrollo.

  Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia (EIA) has established the development of the entrepreneur spirit as one of its formative axis. Therefore, the Entrepreneurship area identified the need to promote the entrepreneurial culture on its community for which it was required, in the first place, to do the diagnosis of its existence. Initially, a theoretical journey was carried out with the purpose of endorsing the concepts of culture, entrepreneur spirit, and entrepreneurial culture, which allowed the identification of the six components of the entrepreneur spirit to evaluate: form to think, to reason and to act centered in the opportunities; consideration of the risk; creativity and innovation; value generation; proactivity, and search of information. Then, these components were analyzed starting from surveys and interviews in depth, to identify the perceptions of the members of the community. The result of the diagnosis was that the EIA community has those components in different levels of development. It is recommended as future work to perform periodic diagnosis of the entrepreneurial culture in order to validate its improvement.
