  • Resumen
    • The study investigated the services offered by Nigerian academic libraries for conflict resolution. The survey research methodology was adopted using the questionnaire as the instrument for data collection. The questionnaire which contained 34 items was administered to a population of 88 academic librarians of the four federal universities in South Eastern Nigeria. The findings revealed that academic libraries do not render all the necessary services for conflict resolution. Absence of established library policy, poor funding, lack of technological infrastructure and lack of government support are among the factors found to have hindered such services. It was recommended among others that academic libraries should be encouraged by government to develop policies on conflict management information services.
