Resumen de El litoral turístico valenciano: intereses y controversias en un territorio tensionado por el residencialismo

El artículo quiere analizar, valorar y comprender el fortísimo oleaje inmobiliario que ha conocido el litoral valenciano en los últimos años (1998-2008) y sus repercusiones sobre el territorio turístico. Importará, desde el análisis geográfico, acercarse al planteamiento territorial y político, en sus vertientes urbanísticas y turísticas, así como a los procesos y estrategias de cambio en los destinos, sean estos manifiestamente turísticos o relevantemente residenciales.
Se pretende también cuantificar a escala municipal el impacto de dicha explosión inmobiliaria-residencial y, por supuesto, incidir objetivamente en las controversias derivadas del llamado «milagro económico valenciano».

The article wants to analyze, to value and to understand the strongest real-estate increment that has known the Valencian littoral in the last years 1998-2008 and its repercussions on the touristic territory. It will be important, from the geographical analysis, to bring over to the political point of view, in the urban development and touristic aspects, as well as to the processes and strategies of change in the destinations not only to the manifestly tourist but also to the mainly residential ones.
We also tried to quantify to municipal scale the impact of the above mentioned real-estate - residential explosion and, certainly, to insist objectively in the controversies derived from the so called «economic Valencian miracle».
