Resumen de Memória de viagem: a "uirtus" à luz da "Consolatória" de Sêneca

O presente artigo tem por objetivo fazer algumas considerações críticas sobre o texto Consolatio ad Helviam, de Sêneca, baseado em um eixo argumentativo em que o narrador ajudava os indivíduos em sofrimento. Sabendo que o narrador foi um exilado e privado dos benefícios de honra e de riqueza, nosso objetivo foi entender como o filósofo analisou a dor. A partir desta perspectiva, analisamos a memória deste viajante, para compreender a construção de ideal político fundamentado na uirtus e no processo de representação do outro.

The objective of this article was to make some critical considerations about the text Consolatio ad Helviam of Seneca, based on an argumentative axis in which the narrator helped individuals under suffering. Knowing that the narrator was an exiled and private from the benefits of honor and richness, our goal was to understand how the philosopher analyzed the pain. From this perspective, we analysed the memory of this traveler to understand the construction of a politic ideal based on the uirtus and on the representation process of others.
