Resumen de Der Heiligen Leben (Vidas de Santos): poder e espaço nas legendas de Margaretha von Antiochien e Barbara

  Regarding the concept of power, much has been said about it using the theories developed by Pierre Bourdieu and Michel Foucault as parameters. Both authors have also ventured to think of the concept of space. However, in this paper we propose to escape from this commonplace approach by opening up a dialogue with the thoughts of Heinrich Popitz, German sociologist, and with the approach of the study of space proposed by �Spatial turn�.

  Focusing on the two narratives contained in Der Heiligen Leben about Margaretha von Antiochien and Barbara, we thus intend to comprehend the discursive constructions in respect to the relationship between power and space.

  No que tange ao conceito de poder, muito se afirma tendo como parâmetro as teorias desenvolvidas por Michel Foucault e Pierre Bourdieu. Ambos os autores também se aventuraram a pensar o conceito de espaço. Contudo, neste artigo pretendemos escapar desse lugar comum ao dialogar com os pensamentos de Heinrich Popitz, sociólogo alemão, e com a abordagem de estudo do espaço proposta pelo �Spatial turn�. Focando os dois relatos contidos na Der Heiligen Leben sobre Margaretha von Antiochien e Barbara, procuraremos, assim, compreender as construções discursivas no que diz respeito à relação entre poder e espaço.
