Resumen de Nuevos detectores de mentiras y derecho penal
In this paper we analyze the «new lie detectors», which achieve a higher degree of reliability than the polygraph. Some countries are considering their use in criminal proceedings in relation to the statements of defendants and witnesses. Their inclusion in the criminal proceeding could be carried out by the expert evidence; however, the use of such methods stir up constitutional problems, in particular, problems arising from the right not to incriminate oneself and the right to privacy and free development of the personality.
