    This work consists in the study about the work singularities of the social assistant in the Social-Juridical Field, specifically identifying the main points that in-dicate the presence and the relationship of the knowledge-power in the professional actuation on that field. The social worker has been ordered by the authorities with their legal knowledge-power to act on the social conflicts that have been accumulat-ing since the conflicting parties to trigger the quest to guarantee legal rights.

    O presente trabalho consiste no estudo sobre as particularidades do traba-lho do assistente social no campo sociojurídico, identificando especificamente os principais pontos que assinalam a presença e a relação do saber-poder na atuação profissional no referido campo. O assistente social vem sendo requisitado pelas ins-tâncias jurídicas com seu saber-poder a fim de atuar sobre os conflitos sociais que se avolumam, já que as partes conflitantes acionam o judiciário em busca da garantia de direitos.
