Resumen de Nuevos datos sobre la presencia de maestros vascos y cántabros en La Rioja durante los siglos XVII-XVIII: Diccionario Biográfico

Desde el siglo XVI y hasta bien avanzado el siglo XVIII, son muchos los artífices vascos y cántabros que en régimen itinerante dejan su huella en la Rioja. El interés estratégico de la región. así como su potente coyuntura económica, favorecen las actividades artísticas y actúan de foco de atracción para estos maestros que introducen nuevas técnicas constructivas, así como estilísticas novedosas.
La única pretensión de este artículo es la de sacar a Ja luz autorías y obras, hasta el momento inéditas, que puedan servir de base para estudios posteriores en los que se ponga de relieve el papel desempeñado por los vascos y cántabros en el panorama artístico riojano.

From the l6th century and, to more than half of the l Sth century there were a lol of Basque and Cantabrian craftsmen who, in a roving way, left their signs in La Rioja. The strategic situation of the area and its important economic moment helped the artistic activities and at the same time attracted all those craftsmen and artist who introduced new building techniques and full of novelties stilistics.
The main claim of this report is to publish autorships and works, which haven't been published up till now. I hope they can be a foundation for following investigations in which the important part played by people from Vasc Country and Cantabria in the artistic scene of Rioja is emphasized.

Hamasei aren mencletik hasita eta hernetzortzi aren zati haundi batean zehar asko clirn errioxan banena bidaiatuz bertan hatzorna uzten duten autore euskaldun eta kantaubiarrak. Herrialdearen etekin estrategikoak, eta bere egoera ekonorniko indartsuak arte lanak egiterakoan honoragorriak dira eta teknika eta estilo berriak ekartzen dizkiguten maisu haventzat foku erakargarri bezala jarduten dute.
Artikulu honen asumo bakarra horain arte ezezagunak izan diren autore eta obrak argitaratzea da gerora egingo dien ikasketetarako balio izan daitetzeu eta euskaldun eta kantaurariek errioxar arteari clagoki onez jokatutako papera kontutan artua izan dadin.
