    Dans un Maroc de plus en plus connecté à l’espace mondialisé, les villes sont devenues les vitrines de cette adaptation. L’étude des dynamiques socio‑spatiales locales et des liens entre le local et le global, entre la ville et le monde, nous éclairent sur les transformations des situations et des lieux à l’échelle locale et pour leurs habitants. Marrakech constitue un exemple emblématique de ce processus du fait de son ouverture au monde et de son rayonnement à l’échelle internationale depuis deux décennies. Ses adaptations et ses formes d’appropriation de la mondialisation ont entrainé une réorganisation des espaces urbains et périurbains qui fragilise le plus souvent un équilibre socio-spatial déjà bien incertain.

    Morocco has become increasingly connected to global space with the towns becoming the showcase of this adopted situation. The study of the local socio-spatial dynamics and the links, both locally and globally, between the towns and the world, clearly indicates the transformations that occur locally with regards to the social conditions and areas, together with the impact on the inhabitants. Marrakech is a prime example of this process due to its opening to the world and the international influence it has had for the past two decades. Its adaptations and its forms of global appropriation have led to a reorganization of both urban and suburban spaces that often weaken a socio-spatial equilibrium that is already uncertain.
