La ética médica ha estado unida estrechamente a esa carga moral que le asigna la tradición cristiana, siendo aún mayor para esta época de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Fue la iglesia católica con sus dogmas y creencias la que mostró el camino de lo que era correcto realizar, pensar y proponer.
