The manuscript is located in Lco Strauss Papers, Box 8, Folder 14, Department of Special Collections, University of Chicago Library. It is written on eight oversized sheets. Sheets 1 through 7 are written on both verso and recto, but sheet 8 only recto. The fair copy is in ink with corrections and additions in pcncil.
The Creighton Philosophical Club held its thirty-ninth Meeting at Syracuse University and Dr.Leo Strauss, at that moment professor in Hamilton (Colgate) and Amherst, read a text about the "Living issues of of german postwar philosophy", where the emphasis was on his confrontation with historicism and bis encounters with both Nietzschc and Heidegger.

El manuscrit que es presenta es troba als Documents de Leo Strauss, caixa 8, carpeta 14, Departament de Col�leccions Especials, Biblioteca de la Universitat de Chicago. Està eserit en vuit fulls de paper de gran format. Els fulls 1-7 estan escrits per les dues cares, mentre que el full número 8 només està escrit per l'anvers. La còpia corregida està escrita en tinta amb correccions i afegitons en llapis.
