Tiempo y representación. La crítica impolítica italiana al pensamiento de Carl Schmitt

    Este artículo se propone analizar la respuesta impolítica de la filosofía italiana contemporánea a la teoría de la representación de Carl Schmitt. En primer lugar, examinaremos su posición sobre esta temática, específicamente en sus escritos durante la República de Weimar. Nos centraremos, por tanto, en su distinción entre la normatividad técnico-económica de la Vertretung y el carácter verdaderamente político y existencial de la Repräsentation. Luego de este análisis, seguiremos las huellas de la filosofía impolítica respecto a esta cuestión en la obra de Massimo Cacciari, Giorgio Agamben y Roberto Esposito. Nuestra hipótesis es que este camino puede contribuir a la deconstrucción, no sólo de la supuesta oposición binaria entre neutralización liberal y teología política, sino también de su vínculo con la escatología como tiempo histórico. Hacia el final, discutiremos las implicancias de una crítica impolítica a esta teo-teleología de la representación.

    This paper aims to study the impolitic answer of contemporary Italian philosophy on Carl Schmitt´s theory of representation. First, we will examine his stance on this topic, particularly on his writings during Weimar Republic. We will therefore focus on his distinction between the technical-economic normativity of the Vertretung and the truly political and existential Repräsentation. After this analysis, we will follow the traces of the impolitic philosophy on this subject in the work of Massimo Cacciari, Giorgio Agamben and Roberto Esposito. Our claim is that this path may contribute with the deconstruction, not only of the allegedly binary opposition between liberal neutralization and political theology, but also of its bond with eschatology as historical time. Finally, we will discuss the implications of an impolitic criticism on this theo-teleology of representation.
