The objective of this philosophical essay is to reflect about the necessity of an epistemology for the Human Self-Formation centered in the life. To develop the reflective process, we used the category of the imagination with Bachelard, and we searched support from Nietzsche for the life category, as well as appealing to its autobiography. Music and dance give a special aesthetic coloring to the elaboration of the text. We conclude the reflection inviting the educators to get involved with the epistemological and living task for the Dionysian spectacle of the Human Self-Formation

O objetivo deste ensaio filosófico é refletir sobre a necessidade de uma epistemologia para a Autoformação Humana centrada na vida. Para desenvolver o processo reflexivo, usamos a categoria da imaginação com Bachelard e buscamos apoio do filósofo-poeta Nietzsche para a categoria vida, inclusive recorrendo a sua autobiografia. Música e dança dão um especial colorido estético à elaboração do texto. Concluímos a reflexão convidando os educadores a se envolverem na tarefa epistemológica e vivencial para o espetáculo dionisíaco da Autoformação Humana.
