Resumen de Las operaciones de la caja de crédito minero en un contexto de crisis, 1927-1934

El objetivo de este artículo es exponer el desenvolvimiento de la Caja de Crédito Minero, CACREMI, en su primera década de funcionamiento para responder a la siguiente hipótesis. El desarrollo anterior de la pequeña y mediana minería, subordinado al capital comercial de los fundidores y de los controladores del transporte marítimo que no permitió a los mineros desarrollar una capacidad comercial ni productiva en términos de innovación y productividad. Se agregó la falta de habilitadores, dado el nuevo escenario en la industria mundial del cobre, sumado a la restricción al crédito, se obtuvo que la CACREMI se convirtiera en la nueva habilitadora de la pequeña y mediana minería sirviendo a la perpetuación del arcaísmo y estancamiento de esta actividad.

The goal of this article is to state the development of the Mining Credit Fund (CACREMI) during its first decade running in order to answer the next hypothesis. The previous development of small and medium mining activity, subordinate to the commercial capital of the creators and managers of the sea-transport that did not allow the miners to develop an commercial or productive ability in terms of innovation and productivity. We have to indicate too the lack of enablers, in the new scenario of the copper world industry, added to the credit limitation; in these circumstances, the CACREMI became the new enabler of small and medium mining activity promoting the perpetuation or archaism and stagnation of this activity.
