  • Significant improvements may sometimes be achieved in existing solar systems by successfully employing simple measures and/or devices, as a result of a physical understanding of the system's operation. A close insight into a number of design and construction considerations, some of which are broadly known, whereas others are still not adequately understood, is undertaken in this article.
