    El objetivo fundamental de este trabajo se centra en el estudio del papel desempeñado por el cambio estructural en el proceso de convergencia en productividad experimentado por las provincias andaluzas entre 1965 y 1995. Bajo este planteamiento, el trabajo parte de una aproximación sectorial - de los cuatro grandes sectores productivos - de la convergencia en productividad al objeto de valorar el grado de heterogeneidad existente en el comportamiento sectorial que puede caracterizarse por la no convergencia. A partir de los resultados obtenidos se intenta calibrar la importancia del cambio estructural a la hora de explicar el crecimiento de la productividad en las provincias andaluzas. La mayor o menor importancia del mismo permitirá contrastar la relevancia de los modelos de crecimiento unisectoriales a la hora de explicar las disparidades provinciales en renta per cápita en Andalucía.

    The fundamental aim of this work, is centered in the study of the role performed by the structural change in the process of convergence in productivity experienced by the Andalusian provinces between 1965 and 1995. Under this approach, the work starts with a sectorial approximation -four large productive sectors- of the convergence in productivity in order to value the degree of existing heterogeneousness in the sectorial behavior that can be characterized for the no convergence. From the obtained results it tries to calibrate the importance of the structural change at the time of explaining the growth of the productivity in the provinces Andalusian. The greater o smaller importance of the same one will permit to contrast the relevance of the unisectorials models of growth at the time of explaining the provincial disparities in rent per capita in Andalusia.
