    El movimiento Occupy Wall Street (OWS) suele ser comparado, en medios periodísticos, con otro mucho más poderoso surgido desde fuera del sistema político estadounidense �y contra él�: el Tea Party. No obstante, mientras este último toma mucho del llamado «anarquismo de derecha», elogioso del egoísmo individual y de la ausencia de Estado, los activistas de OWS pusieron en la agenda una crítica, aún difusa pero efectiva, a esos valores conservadores fundantes de la identidad estadounidense, tratando de iluminar ideas y caminos progresistas que ese mismo mito originario ha cobijado desde el comienzo.

    The Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement is usually compared in the media with another, much more powerful, movement that came from outside of the United States political system � and against it: the Tea Party. However, whilst the latter takes much from the so-called «right wing anarchism», appreciative of individual egoism and the absence of the State, the OWS activists have put on the agenda a critique, still diffuse but effective, of these conservative founding values in the United States� identity, trying to illuminate ideas and progressive paths which this same original myth has sheltered from the beginning.
