    La filosofía latinoamericana contemporánea ha generado importantes reflexiones sobre la crisis del sujeto moderno y el surgimiento de subjetividades alternativas que permitan fundar un nuevo orden social orientado a la armonía ecológica, la justicia social y la liberación permanente de los mecanismos psíquicos e ideológicos reproductores de la dominación. El chileno Francisco Varela, desde el campo de las ciencias cognitivas, el venezolano Elías Capriles, desde el ámbito de la ecología radical y la espiritualidad budista, y el cubano Raúl Fornet- Betancourt, desde la filosofía de la liberación de raigambre cristiana, ofrecen desde tres ópticas convergentes una visión de conjunto de las posibilidades de transformación de la subjetividad humana en su búsqueda de salidas colectivas frente a la crisis civilizatoria desencadenada por el capitalismo global.

    The contemporary Latin American philosophy has generated important reflections on the crisis of the modern subject and on the emergence of alternative subjectivities to build a new social order oriented towards the ecological harmony, the social justice and the emancipation of the psychological and ideological mechanisms of domination. The Chilean Francisco Varela, from the field of Cognitive Science, the Venezuelan Elías Capriles, from the field of radical ecology and the Buddhist spirituality, and the Cuban Raúl Fornet-Betancourt, from the liberation philosophy of Christian roots offer from three convergent perspectives an overview of the possibilities of transforming the human subjectivity in their quest for collective outings to respond to the Crisis of civilization triggered by globalized capitalism.
