El país sudamericano vivió una intensa semana con una aguerrida montonera dueña de las calles, bloqueos campesinos, un estado de sitio militarizado con muertos, heridos, confinados y una histórica rebelión policial. ¿Solo un estallido? ¿O es el prólogo de una renovada protesta social ante un gobierno errático, reaccionario y sin plan para dar continuidad a las reformas estructurales?

The Water War", "The April Events", "The Collapse of the Model" are some of the headlines which resume the current situation in Bolivia. The country witnessed an entire week during which irregular armed forces took the streets, peasants blocked the highways and the State of Siege declared by the government provoked deaths, wounded, massive arrests and, even more notable, a historic police rebellion. A simple outbreak? Or does it announce a new cycle of social protest against a government which has proved erratic, reactionary and lacking the necessary clarity to continue applying the plans of structural reform?
